Canine First Aid Course in Hastings
DW Dogs is pleased to announce that we now offer the Primary Care part of the Canine First Responder Course as a half day Canine First Aid Course.
The Canine First Aid Course also requires home-study before the course, so do ensure you book early to receive your student pack in good time!
The First Aid (Primary Care) course lasts half the day. You will learn how to deal with emergency situations involving dogs including:
- Scene assessment
- Use of barriers
- CPR and rescue breathing
- Spinal injury management
- Shock management
- Serious bleeding
Who should attend the Dog First Aid Course?
This is a hands-on practical dog first aid course and is ideal for anyone over the age of 16 who is interested in first aid for dogs. The course is suitable for:
- Dog owners
- Dog walkers
- Pet/Dog sitters
- Kennel workers
- Dog daycare business
- Dog Trainers
- Dog Handlers
- Dog Groomers
- Dog Show Organisers
- Working dog owners
This course is open and can be adapted for people with additional needs. Personal assistants and assistance dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
The course lasts for half a day from 9am. The course takes place in the morning and Secondary Care course takes place in the afternoon. You may choose to upgrade and take both to complete the Canine First Responder Course.

Canine First Responder DVD: £10** (optional but recommended)
