Canine First Responder Course in Hastings
DW Dogs is pleased to announce our Canine First Responder First Aid Courses at Hastings United FC ground.
This first aid course is specifically designed to enable you to provide first response care for injured dogs.
You will learn:
- Scene assessment and barrier use
- Primary assessment
- CPR and rescue breathing
- Control of bleeding
- How to manage shock
- How to assess injuries
- Applying splints for dislocations and fractures
- Minor wounds and bandaging
- First aid treatment for burns, poisoning, hyperthermia, hypothermia
- And much more….
On completion of the Canine First Responder Course, you will receive an internationally recognised training certificate.
Advance booking is essential as you are required to do some home study before the course.

You will be sent a Canine First Responder Learner Pack through the post before the course begins. This pack is essential and contains an electronic version of the Canine First Response course workbook.
